![]() From market to love story, childhood to adolescence, there it arrives all the same, a swaying of the heart: Tamako is now standing at the entrance to the universe. It isn’t enough that Tamako remains in the nest the twigs woven snug, the colors all the same. They’re all an effective way to showcase Tamako’s plight, but however lovely they may be, I wanted to try painting a picture using my words instead. With a variety of techniques and tricks, we enter into the headspace of Tamako where approximate assemblages collapse and stock senses fritz out. Tamako’s tenuous grasp on the colors of her life are unfastening all throughout and this scene demonstrates with remarkable aplomb how.
